Risk is borderless. So why is it often viewed narrowly? At the XL Congress 2006, we invite you to seek a new perspective on
an old problem: How to manage global risk. One World Without Borders, the theme of the XL Congress, will challenge you to think
differently, not only about risk but about its context: the world. View it through a new lens and help us to bring risk into focus.

To celebrate XL’s 20th Anniversary, we are
pleased to host our clients, brokers and business
leaders at the XL Congress 2006 in Boston. The birthplace
of America’s fight for liberty, Boston is
a most appropriate venue for this XL Congress, One
World Without Borders, which will examine macroeconomic
and geopolitical issues.
Revealing new perspectives, the XL Congress will
offer an intellectually challenging forum in which
to explore topics ranging from trade, economics
and wealth, to ethics and humanitarianism. It will
give us the opportunity to hear from leading political,
economic and social figures, follow lively panel
debates, and engage in dialogue with other leaders
in our industry.
The XL Congress in Boston follows a similar event
hosted by XL in Berlin in May, bringing a truly
global perspective to these thought-provoking deliberations.
We invite you to explore highlights of the XL Congress
in Berlin and our inaugural XL
Congress in Montreux, Switzerland in 2003.
The XL Congress will be an ideal opportunity to
reaffirm and enrich long-term business relationships
and develop new ones. We look forward to seeing
you in Boston.
